Purpose
Kijanix rewards general contractors (GCs) for recommending verified, high-quality subcontractors (“crews”) through the App. Incentives encourage GCs to introduce crews that meet Kijanix standards for professionalism, quality, and reliability.
Eligibility
- Only verified GCs may submit recommendations. Verification is based on project experience, permit records, and business registration.
- GCs may not recommend their own companies, subsidiaries, or affiliated entities.
- Each individual is allowed only one incentive account, regardless of the number of organizations, companies, or subsidiaries they are affiliated with. Incentive payouts are tied to the individual’s verified identity (phone number, email, and/or other Kijanix verification methods) and cannot be split across multiple accounts, even if the individual manages multiple construction companies.
- This restriction ensures that GCs cannot create multiple accounts to bypass performance requirements. All recommendations and incentive calculations are aggregated under the single verified incentive account.
Recommendation Requirements
Each recommendation must include:
- Proof the crew performed work (e.g., photos)
- Estimated timeframe of the project
- Job value
- Crew phone number and primary contact
- Crew name
- A brief statement describing the work performed and crew strengths/weaknesses
All recommendations and profiles are subject to Kijanix verification.
Incentive Payout Structure
Performance-Based Payouts
- Incentives are tied to the average rating of crews you recommend, as rated by other GCs.
- Ratings are calculated per trade and contractor, and only apply to jobs completed through Kijanix.
- No incentives are paid for jobs that are not fully paid out.
- Incentives are calculated as a percentage of the Kijanix service fee collected on completed jobs.

Performance Threshold
If the average recommendation rating falls below 4.0, incentive payouts can be paused or terminated.
Job Completion Requirement
Each incentive tier requires both the minimum average recommendation rating and the minimum number of completed jobs performed by recommended crews through Kijanix.
A GC will qualify for the highest tier for which both the rating and job requirements are satisfied.
If a GC meets the job requirement for a higher tier but does not meet the rating requirement, the GC will receive the incentive percentage corresponding to the highest rating tier they qualify for.
Example: If recommended crews complete 4 jobs but the GC’s average recommendation rating is 4.4, the GC will receive the Verified Recommender Incentive (5%), since that is the highest tier for which both the rating and job requirements are satisfied.
Minimum Job Threshold and Retroactive Eligibility
Incentive payouts begin once recommended crews have completed a minimum of three (3) jobs through Kijanix.
Once the three-job threshold is reached, the recommender becomes eligible for incentive payments and will receive retroactive payouts for all qualifying jobs completed by those recommended crews prior to reaching the threshold, calculated according to the recommender’s applicable rating tier at the time each job was completed.
Incentives are only paid on jobs that are fully completed and fully paid through Kijanix.
Payment Timing
Incentives are calculated based on the recommender’s rating tier at the time the job is completed and fully paid out.
Example
If a $1,000 job is completed and the Kijanix service fee is 10% ($100), a Elite Recommender earning 10% would receive $10 incentive payment.
Secondary Verifiers
- Secondary verifiers can verify crews and improve their own trust score, but do not receive incentive payments.
Dispute Resolution
- Kijanix has sole discretion to mediate disputes and determine incentive payouts.
- Any disputes regarding ratings, crew performance, or payments will be resolved by Kijanix, and decisions are final.
Policy Changes
- Kijanix reserves the right to update or terminate the incentive program at any time.
- GCs must remain compliant with all terms to continue participation.
