1. Role of Kijanix

Kijanix provides marketing, lead generation, and project coordination services. Kijanix is not a general contractor and does not perform construction work. All construction services are performed by independent contractors.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

Contractors operate as independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or partners of Kijanix. Contractors are solely responsible for the means, methods, and execution of their work.

3. Contractor Responsibilities

Contractors agree to:

– Perform all work in a professional and workmanlike manner
– Comply with all applicable laws, codes, and permitting requirements
– Maintain any required licenses and insurance
– Communicate reliably regarding scheduling and project status
– Complete work according to the agreed scope and timeline

4. Pricing Structure

Contractors submit their pricing for labor and services. Kijanix may add a service fee (typically 10–25%) to cover marketing, customer acquisition, administrative coordination, and support.

Contractors acknowledge that:
– Pricing submitted should not include marketing or administrative overhead
– Final project pricing must remain competitive within the local market

5. Project Assignment

Kijanix distributes project opportunities based on service area, availability, and contractor performance. Kijanix does not guarantee any minimum volume of work.

6. Payment Terms

Payments for labor are facilitated through a third-party escrow provider unless otherwise specified.

Contractors agree to:
– Follow escrow procedures and milestone requirements
– Submit required documentation (including photos) to verify completion
– Acknowledge that release of funds is contingent upon meeting escrow conditions

7. Customer Experience & Reviews

Contractor performance, including communication, quality of work, and reliability, directly impacts future project opportunities. Kijanix may limit or discontinue project assignments based on performance or customer feedback.

8. Non-Circumvention

Contractors agree not to bypass Kijanix by directly soliciting or accepting work from homeowners introduced through the platform outside of the Kijanix process for a period of [12–24 months].

9. Disputes & Responsibility

Contractors are solely responsible for the work performed. Any claims related to workmanship, defects, or project execution are the responsibility of the contractor.

Kijanix may assist in coordination but is not liable for construction outcomes.

10. Termination

Kijanix may suspend or terminate contractor access to project opportunities at any time based on performance, policy violations, or business discretion.

11. Modifications

Kijanix may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation in the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
